TEA TABLE
Virginia Black Walnut
Southside Virginia
C 1750-1760
27.5″ H 32.25″ W 22.25″ D

The robustly molded top, square to round styling of the legs, thick stock used for the skirt and delicate slipper foot evidence the eastern Virginia origins of this charming small tea table.  A number tea and other tables which display these characteristics have been documented in the counties situated south of the James River including Surrey, Sussex, Isle of Wight and Southampton.
