Sally’s parents were Benjamin and Elizabeth (Shrewsbury) Turner who were married in Bedford County in 1791. She very likely attended Roland School for Girls located at Mead’s Tavern in New London Sally (Sarah) first married Samuel Cook in 1822 and after his death, Dr. George Washington Clement who was related to Samuel Clements.

The sampler is in very good condition with small repairs and some fading.
